How to Install Firefox

1. Go to http://www.mozilla.com to download Firefox.
2. Click Download Firefox - Free to start downloading the software.
   
   
3. The File Download - Security Warning box will appear. Click on Save.
   
   
4. Click on Desktop in the left column.
   
   
5. Click Save to save the installation file to your desktop.
   
   
6. Once the download has completed, click on Run to start the installation.
   
   
7. If a security warning appears, click Run.
   
   
8. This starts the setup process for Firefox. Through the next few screens, keep the defaults, and continue through the installation. When asked, be sure to accept the license agreement.
   
   
9. Upon a successful installation, you will be presented with this screen. Leave Launch Mozilla Firefox now checked and click Finish to open the Firefox browser.
   
   
10. When Firefox opens, you are presented with the Default Browser dialog box. If you select Yes, any web links that you click on (such as those in email messages), it will automatically open Firefox instead of your other browser (such as Internet Explorer or Safari). It is up to whether you select Yes or No. Don't uncheck the box -- simply choose Yes or No.
    
    
11. Firefox may also ask you if you would like to import your settings and bookmarks into Firefox. If you would like your Firefox browser to have all the bookmarks of your current browser, click Next.
